The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
