Assassin's Creed Reveals Bizarre AoT Crossover for Thanksgiving
In a unexpected collaboration that defies conventional expectations, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.
Strange Mission Uncovered
According to the official announcement, "An unusual meeting draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where whispers of prohibited ceremonies and monstrous changes resonate through the shadows." The narrative features a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a clandestine cult.
The mission concentrates on "strange trials and a monstrous adversary" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Changes
The teaser features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview finishes with a dramatic scene showing a character, likely the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Rewards and Bonus Material
Players who finish the mission will acquire an special katana alongside several artifacts hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

This patch also brings the game's latest complimentary story addition, titled "The Enigma."
