Amazing $30 Cartography Software Bundle Is a Online Gaming Game Master's Fantasy

Following a brief run back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back with an encore that lasts until Dec. 2. Hailed as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by a specialized software company over the years, the entire collection is valued at over $1,300. Primary Feature

Entry Level

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-product collection for at least $15 is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

All 17 volumes from the Annual series come with this bundle, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs that can help users craft complete solar systems, or just go all-in on classic fantasy realm creation: battle maps, dungeons, urban centers, and continents in multiple viewpoints. Users can also create character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle is so worth it, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly an even better deal for cartography beginners since it includes the beginners' tutorials to help you get started. The one caveat here is that while you can redeem the deal across platforms, the software is only usable on Windows.

Charitable Component

Similar to previous bundles, part of every purchase supports charitable organizations. For this one, the beneficiary is Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response. Package customization options appear near the page top, but you can also select any amount for a donation in the right-hand section.
